Information

1. Shipping for hatching eggs and poults / chicks. 

- We ship all hatching eggs currently with Canada Post, While we never sell any eggs that have a fertility rate of under 85 percent we can not guarantee hatching rates once they leave our property.

- Shipping live chicks and poults are done so via West jet. Customers are in to pay all shipping rate for poults and chicks as well as hatching eggs. 

2. Bio security.

- Our property is a bio secure area. with our breeding pens for poultry kept inside our large coops, sanitized boots and clean clothing only. Because of this we do not allow on site farm visits. this goes for our Kunekune pigs as well. 

3, What are our Kunekune pigs and poultry fed?

- Our Kunekune pigs are fed a mix of Peas, Wheat and Barley along with good quality hay/ pasture,  this also goes for our meat turkeys and chickens.

4. Do you sell Weiner or butcher pigs?

- We do offer Kunekune barrows.

5. Do you sell any of your pure Kunekunes unregistered and in tact ?

- We do not. Any quality stock will be sold registered. If we have a pig who does not meet our standards they will be sold as Pet or meat only and will be spayed or castrated before leaving the property. 

6. Why are the hatching eggs different colors and shades of blue/ green or brown?

- We find as the laying season begins the hatching eggs bloom is stronger there for the shades are more vibrant. While the season goes on the shades of the eggs lighten up a bit. This also happens with age of the hen.
